Amtrak Launches Flash Sale, Roomette Companions Ride Free

For a limited time, customers can invite a free plus one

WASHINGTON – A new flash sale just dropped at Amtrak. Traveling with someone special gets even better with the Roomette Free Companion Flash Sale. Customers who reserve a Roomette on most routes can bring along a companion at no additional charge. Book between Tuesday, Oct. 22 and Thursday, Oct. 31 at Amtrak.com/RoomSale, or on the Amtrak app using code C104, for travel between Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, and Friday, Jan. 31, 2025, excluding blackout dates.

Roomettes feature two comfortable seats that transform into upper and lower beds by night, with newly upgraded bedding, pillows and towels, plus easy access to restrooms and showers. As withall Amtrak private rooms, a dedicated attendant provides Roomette guests with turndown service, meal assistance, and baggage handling. These customers also receive delicious complimentary meals, served in the dining room where guests share tables, tell stories and make new friends while enjoying delightful food and drinks. This flash sale is valid on all Amtrak Long Distance trains, except the southbound Auto Train.
