On behalf of the 23,000 men and women working at Amtrak, we congratulate President Trump and Vice President Vance as they begin their administration. We were proud to serve those who traveled to Washington, D.C. to celebrate the inauguration. Amtrak is committed to collaborating with President Trump, Vice President Vance, Secretary Nominee Duffy, Deputy Secretary Nominee Bradbury, Administrator Nominee Fink, and other partners to connect America and improve our infrastructure. Based on the record ridership levels set in 2024, Americans clearly want more Amtrak intercity passenger trains, and with the Trump-Vance administration’s strong federal support, America’s Railroad can further advance our mega construction projects, enhance our fleet, and once again, achieve record ridership and revenue, all of which will lead to more U.S. jobs and a greater American economy.
