Amtrak Launches Flash Sale Fares on Auto Train

For a limited time, travel from Florida to the Northeast for as low as $39 + vehicle

WASHINGTON – Amtrak is launching a fare sale on Auto Train—allowing customers to travel with their vehicle from Florida to the Northeast while saving time and money. Now through Aug.18, 2023, Auto Train one-way fares are as low as $39, plus the cost of your vehicle.

Customers traveling in Coach enjoy wide, reclining seats with plenty of legroom, no middle seats and a big picture window to enjoy the view. Prior to arrival, a complimentary continental breakfast is served. Plus, all Auto Train Coach interiors have now been refreshed with new seating cushions and upholstery, carpeting and window curtains.

For extra comfort and privacy, customers can book a First Class private room—offering priority boarding, complimentary meals onboard, a dedicated First Class attendant and newly upgraded bedding, pillows, towels and linens. Accommodation options include a Roomette—featuring two comfortable seats that transform into upper and lower beds by night—or a Bedroom offering twice the space of a Roomette as well as an in-room sink, restroom and shower.

The Amtrak Auto Train offers daily, non-stop service between Lorton, Va., (near Washington, D.C.) and Sanford, Fla. (near Orlando). Customers can travel with several types of vehicles—including cars, vans, SUVs and motorcycles. This is the only such service in the U.S. and eliminates nearly 900 miles of driving between the Northeast and Florida.
