Travel as low as $9 Between Select Cities in the Southeast

Get Carried Away with new ultra-low fares

WASHINGTON – Customers can maximize savings by taking advantage of new, ultra-low Saver Fares on the Amtrak Crescent, which provides daily service to 10 destinations between Atlanta, Birmingham and New Orleans. These everyday discounts allow customers to get carried away to destinations in the Southeast.

Discounted fares for travel in Coach start at just $9 with no Saver Fares higher than $39 between Atlanta and New Orleans. The discount is a savings of up to 50% off the base fare.

Amtrak provides customers a compelling alternative to congested highways and crowded airports for those taking a weekend away or making a quick trip to visit friends and family.

Customers will experience an array of amenities including downtown-to-downtown service, no middle seat, ample legroom, the ability to earn Amtrak Guest Rewards points and one of the most generous baggage policies in travel. Customers have the freedom to use their cell phones and electronic devices without the need for airplane mode. Plus, Coach customers aboard the Crescent enjoy Café Service with meals, snacks and beverages for sale.
