Amtrak is expanding its Northeast Corridor high-speed rail service with
the addition of a new weekday Acela Express round-trip between New York and Washington
beginning on Jan. 28.
Amtrak announces it has named Magdy El-Sibaie as the new chief
safety officer and Robin McDonough as chief, business operations. Both will report directly to
DJ Stadtler, vice president of operations.
Amtrak Guest Rewards® announced today the launch of Select Executive, its newest tier status for members who earn 20,000 or more Tier Qualifying Points in the calendar year. The new tier launched on January 1, 2013.
