new ‘Trak Suit [1], inspired by the winning ready-to-wear style from its recent design showcase and competition. The exclusive set reimagines an iconic fashion staple to celebrate the launch of the
NextGen Acela fleet [2], embodying its premium comfort, modern design, and elevated experience. Created by New York School of Design student, Anastasiia Lukinskaia, the two-piece set can be purchased at the
Amtrak Store [3] between Thursday, Jan. 29 and Monday, Feb. 2. To see photos on the Trak Suit,

“When we revealed the ‘Trak Suits collection during fashion week in New York, the response from our fans was incredible, and we’re thrilled today to offer the winning look as part of this limited release,” said Amtrak Vice President, Digital & Brand Management, Jessica Davidson, “The creativity and ingenuity behind the design embodies the perfect blend of Amtrak’s heritage, and the innovation of today, reflected in the premium, modern style that NextGen Acela represents.”
The ‘Trak Suits’ travel fit features rich colors printed on microfiber fleece poly fabric for a soft, cozy feel. Customized with embroidered logos on the hooded sweatshirt and matching pants, along with a unique zipper pull, the ‘Trak Suit blends cool vibes with functional comfort – complete with a detachable sleep mask built into the hoodie.
The limited release set, featuring the winning ready-to-wear design, was originally developed as part of Amtrak’s collaboration with the New York School of Design. Last fall, Amtrak invited seven upcoming fashion designers to submit their interpretations of the iconic and timeless tracksuit. Designed and sewn in the USA, the looks were conceptualized, cut, crafted, and styled by hand, and with bold creative direction, culminating in a Fashion Show during Fall Fashion Week in New York.
