Washington Union Station and New York Penn Station are sparkling this season as the iconic stations are transforming into a festive destination for travelers and visitors alike.
These holiday celebrations and markets will feature over 40 vendors between Wednesday, Dec. 17 and Saturday, Dec. 20 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., at Washington Union Station in both the Main Hall and East Hall and 15 vendors from Wednesday, Dec. 10 through Saturday, Dec. 13 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at New York Penn Station in the Amtrak Rotunda. Visitors and travelers can shop from local vendors and small businesses, featuring:
- Home goods (candles, body butters, soaps, essential oils)
- Clothing (contemporary, vintage, second-hand) – including Amtrak merchandise
- Jewelry (hand-made, vintage)
- Vintage books and records along with new releases of books, records, cassettes and CDs
- Artisanal baked goods
- Photos, paintings
- Collectibles and Antiques
In addition, The Stage at Union Station, presented by the Union Station Redevelopment Corporation (USRC) in partnership with Sing for Hope, will fill Washington Union Station with holiday cheer all month long, featuring beloved music classics performed by local talent.
This free weekly concert series, known for spotlighting a curated lineup of DC musicians year-round, will host special holiday performances throughout December, creating a joyful soundtrack for one of the busiest travel seasons of the year.
