Amtrak Extends Lowest Fares of 2020 for Acela and Northeast Regional Trains through Sept. 30

Customers and employees can continue to feel confident in Amtrak’s safety measures

Acela [1] and Northeast Regional [2] (NER) trains, so customers can receive extra savings when traveling throughout the Northeast, which combine 30 percent savings with the ongoing Saver Fares [3] for travel through Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020. The sale is available for purchase through Wednesday, Sept. 30, and exchanges and refunds can be processed upon customer request also through that date.

Amtrak’s new, enhanced safety initiatives will continue to be in effect for customers and employees on its trains and at its stations, including its face mask requirement.

Advanced purchase is required at least 14 days prior to travel. Fares are one way (adult) and no additional discounts apply. Valid for Acela Business class seats and Northeast Regional Coach class only. Seating is limited; seats may not be available on all days. Once purchased, all sales are final with no exchange or refund value; exchanges and refunds can be processed upon customer request for purchases through Sept. 30, 2020. Once travel has begun, no changes to the itinerary are permitted. Blackout dates include Tuesday, Nov. 24, Wednesday, Nov. 25, and from Nov. 28-30. Other restrictions may apply.
