Amtrak Launches Coach Sale for Travel on the Auto Train

For a limited time, a special fare for $89 one-way, plus the cost of the vehicle, is available for purchase beginning on July 15. This offer is valid for travel beginning on July 22, 2019.

This offer is valid for travel beginning on July 22, 2019. This offer is only valid for travel on the Auto Train. This train offers daily, non-stop service from Lorton, Va. (near Washington, D.C.), and Sanford, Fla. (near Orlando). Customers can skip I-95 and travel with their vehicles, including cars, vans, SUVs, motorcycles, and even small boats or jet-skis.

Reservations are required a minimum of three days prior to travel. This offer is valid for coach seats only; no upgrades are permitted. Fares are subject to availability and seating is limited, seats may not be available on all trains and dates. The discounted one-way fares are valid for adult passengers; no additional discounts apply.

Once purchased tickets are non-refundable. Exchanges are permitted within the ticket validity period; a 25 percent cancellation fee applies. This offer is not combinable with any other discount offer. Fares routes and schedules are subject to change without notice. Once travel has begun, no changes to the itinerary are permitted.
