December 12, 2018 Booking Travel Now Easier with New Online Tool

Connect to the most beautiful, popular destinations

WASHINGTON – Amtrak Vacations®, one of the leading train travel package providers in North America, introduced an online tool to give customers a convenient way to book a unique rail adventure.

Customers can book travel after visiting the Amtrak Vacations website to browse from a selection of pre-planned train trips or create an independent, customized vacation. The online tool also gives customers the ability to check availability and pricing, and handpick activities, tours and dining experiences.

Amtrak Vacations®, operated by Yankee Leisure Group, offers more than 300 rail packages for independent train journeys, trips to U.S. National Parks and rail and sail vacations. Traveling by train offers a complete travel package with transportation, bedrooms and food service and allows customers to relax the moment they board the train.

“Amtrak Vacations is a one-stop shop and researching options has never been easier with this built-in feature and advanced filter tools that help narrow search results,” said Frank Marini, President of Yankee Leisure Group.

Amtrak serves more than 500 destinations, and rail travel gives customers the opportunity to take a memorable one-way escape, a roundtrip adventure or experience an itinerary in reverse. Customers can add extra nights in an exciting location, or a getaway onto a journey, combine set itineraries, and upgrade onboard sleeping accommodations.

Customers can continue to call a rail vacation specialist for questions about a trip and to book travel. Visit the Amtrak Vacations website for more information.
