September 11, 2018 Amtrak Offers National 3-Day Sale for College Students

Book now to save 30 percent for nationwide travel

WASHINGTON – With school back in session at colleges across the country, customers who are between 17-24 years of age and traveling with a valid student ID can save 30 percent off their Amtrak travel on most trains throughout the country. The sale is valid for travel from Monday, Oct. 1 to Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019, with no blackout dates. The sale runs exclusively on Amtrak.com for booking between Tuesday, Sept. 11 and Thursday, Sept. 13, using the promo code “V112.”

Considered by students as the smarter way to travel, visiting family and friends, heading to the big game or planning a quick getaway has never been easier.
