Customers save 30 percent on travel throughout the Northeast on Northeast Regional and Acela Express Trains

WASHINGTON – It’s time to skip the traffic and remove the hassle for your holiday travel with Amtrak’s latest “Northeast Holiday Travel Sale” exclusively available at Amtrak.com. Customers can visit the most popular cities in the Northeast for their winter travel, whether it’s to go holiday shopping, explore a new city while sipping local hot cocoa, visit family and friends, experience the natural beauty of snow-covered landmarks, have an ice skating, skiing or other snow sport adventure or visit some of the world’s most famous museums. On Amtrak, customers also benefit from one of the most generous baggage policies in the travel industry with up to four free bags (two carry-ons and two personal bags).
