WASHINGTON, D.C. – Amtrak Vacations®, one of the leading rail travel package providers in North America, is now a national preferred partner for AAA and CAA, North America’s largest motoring and leisure travel organization.

As a preferred tour supplier, Amtrak Vacations will gain new visibility with the more than 57 million AAA and CAA members.

Amtrak Vacations®, operated by Yankee Leisure Group, offers more than 300 rail packages for independent and escorted rail journeys, trips to U.S. National Parks and rail and sail vacations. Traveling by rail offers a complete travel package with transportation, bedrooms and food service and allows customers to relax the moment they board the train.

“This partnership expands options for travelers to connect them to some of the most beautiful and popular destinations across the United States and Canada,” said Jason Molfetas, Amtrak Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer.

Amtrak Vacations offers an eco-friendly, flexible, and fun way to discover America. Customers may choose from hundreds of pre-planned train trips or create their own, and then sit back and enjoy the journey with America’s Railroad®.

“AAA is pleased to welcome Amtrak Vacations to our preferred travel partner family,” said Bill Sutherland, AAA Senior Vice President of Travel & Publishing. “AAA members already enjoy discounts on Amtrak passenger rail tickets, and this new partnership with Amtrak Vacations offers our members expanded opportunities for savings on full vacation packages.”
