WASHINGTON — Amtrak is proud to sponsor The Root 100, the annual signature event hosted by TheRoot.com, the premier news, opinion and culture site for African-American influencers. The event is dedicated to recognizing standout leaders, innovators and culture shapers in the African American community age 45 and under.
Amtrak will serve as presenting sponsor of this year’s awards. The 2014 award winners span across industries such as arts, entertainment, law, government, sports and business.

The event is being held on Nov. 6, 2014, at Espace in New York City.
