WASHINGTON – Amtrak is the Official Railroad Partner of the 2015 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic®, an outdoor hockey game that will take place on Jan. 1 at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. America’s Railroad® is also a proud supporter of the USA Warriors Game Powered by Amtrak on Jan. 2.
The seventh NHL Winter Classic® will be between the Chicago Blackhawks® and Washington Capitals® and will be broadcast nationally beginning at 1 p.m. on Jan. 1. The USA Warriors Game Powered by Amtrak will feature two games between sled and standing players who served in the U.S. military and will also be played on an outside hockey rink at Nationals Park on Jan. 2.
