Opportunity to learn about rail travel, Chance to win free round-trip on NEC

WASHINGTON — Amtrak will again host a booth at NYC Pride, providing festival attendees the opportunity to learn about rail travel at one of the largest LGBT events in the nation. The event will be held on Sunday, June 29 on Hudson Street between Abingdon Square and West 14th Street, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Amtrak booth will feature family activities and games, with information about Amtrak service to over 500 destinations. In addition, visitors to the Amtrak booth will have a chance to win free round-trip travel vouchers for Amtrak travel in the Northeast Corridor.

As an official sponsor, Amtrak demonstrates its commitment to diversity and inclusion while providing the opportunity to learn about the many services Amtrak provides to record numbers of travelers across its national network each year.

“Amtrak continually strives to provide outstanding service to all of its customers,” said Darlene Abubakar, Senior Director, National Advertising and Marketing Programs. “Our partnership with New York City Pride allows us to reaffirm our commitment to the LGBT community and to share with all festival attendees in a fun and festive environment, the benefits and unique experience of rail travel.”
